PJs Art Studio & Abstract Art
Above, detailed examples of my work
Abstract art is open to interpretation — which often makes it difficult for people to understand. We’re more comfortable identifying objects and putting labels on them.
Abstract art doesn’t tell you what it is — or how you should feel about it. It just invites you to bring your own life-experiences and be aware of the feelings, emotions and memories “your viewing” might evoke.
If we allow ourselves to be taken in by an abstract — if we, travel through the textures, colors and patterns without a preconceived expectation — a whole new world might evolve.
“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way — things I had no words for.”
— Georgia O’Keeffe
